Shearer's Accommodation - A Guide to the Shearers Act 1962 and Regulations
This booklet describes the facilities that farmers are legally obliged to provide when theyemploy shearers on their farm. It summarises the requirements contained in the Shearers Act 1962 and the Shearers Regulations 1963.
Part 1 prescribes in detail the standards of accommodation and amenities that must be provided for shearers who are accommodated on a farm. Part 2 prescribes the amenities that must be provided for shearers who are not accommodated on the farm.
This booklet is intended as a practical guide to the legislation.
