The aim of this code of practice is to provide for the safety, health and protection of all personnel involved in the New Zealand funeral industry and for the protection of the environment. It encourages a safe and healthy environment for industry personnel and establishes minimum performance standards to enable members of the industry to achieve excellence in safety and health management and environmental practice. Its intention is to ensure that members safely and effectively deliver the range of services required.
