Falsework

Falsework is any temporary structure or framework used in construction work to support materials, equipment or any assembly. It is used to support a permanent structure during its erection and until it becomes self-supporting.

This leaflet outlines recommended safe practices for foundations, bracing, loading and dismantling. It also discusses other safety measures such as falsework for structures over any area of public access. It includes a handy list of do's and don'ts for those erecting falsework.
